What happens at Cubs, then?
Our Cub Pack is for children aged 8-10, and we normally meet at the Scout Hut weekly on Mondays.
During our meetings, we do an opening ceremony followed by various fun activties, ranging from orienteering and cooking to tent building and campfires, plus lots of team games. We sometimes visit special local sites, including the Fire Station, and we often use the facilities available in Pittville Park (such as the boating lake and the play-park. We also sometimes visit the animals!)
Our meetings sometimes enable us to share things with our friends and family, whether that be something we’ve made, or a nice hot chocolate round a campfire.
Our main leader is Akela, who along with a pack of amazing assistants, aims to run fun, engaging, and exciting Cub meetings.
…the bear necessities.
The pack meets weekly on Mondays.
Our Cub Pack offers your child the opportunity to be a part of many amazing activities and gain many great skills, and friends, for life.
Cubs is also a great next-step to take after your child has already gnawed through Beavers, or found their pot of gold at Rainbows.
